SecuROM Messages Description

Please select the error message to get more detailed information in order to remedy.

• Original disc could not be found or authenticated.
• Unable to authenticate original disc within time limit. Try again?
• Emulator detected! Please deactivate virtual drive and emulation software.
• A required security module can not be activated. This program can not be executed.
• No CD/DVD-ROM drive found.
• No disc inserted. Please insert the original CD/DVD.
• Wrong disc inserted. Please insert the original CD/DVD.
• No ASPI layer found on your system. This is necessary for successful authentication.
• This application is not compatible with the installed operation system. Please upgrade to Windows 98SE, Windows 2000 or better.
• Please remove disc from current CD/DVD drive and insert the original disc in drive <DRIVENAME>.

SecuROM™ has detected an unsupported operating system. SecuROM™ version 7 supports Windows™ 98 SE (Second Edition), Windows™ Me, Windows™ 2000, Windows™ XP (all versions) and Windows™ Vista (all versions). Please refer to the following procedure to remedy:

• Please upgrade to one of these operating systems in order to start the program.
• If you think the error message is false, please send a SecuROM™ analysis file to support@securom.com (see "Support Info" section on how to do that).
