Grant your customers exclusive access to protected Web content - all they need is one of your original discs. Secure Web Link does not require passwords or certificates. Provide restricted access to downloadable music files or software updates, access to support areas, special merchandising offers like concert tickets or posters, etc..

How does it work?

A SecuROM-protected .exe file is added to the CD-ROM. When launched, the file establishes an Internet connection to a Sony Authentication Server. This server connects to the content server only if there is a legally produced disc in the disc drive. Access to this Web content is otherwise impossible, even if its location (URL) is known.
